Charles's Success Story: Healthy Homes Initiative in Cherokee County

Updated: Aug 4, 2020

“Charles” is a senior citizen living in Cherokee county. His house was overrun with mold to the point where he had to be relocated to a nursing home temporarily until the mold could be removed. The Healthy Homes Initiative was used to replace the moldy wall board, carpets and subflooring and replace them. Charles is looking forward to living in a healthy and safe environment at home again.

We are grateful to have a sponsor like BlueCross BlueShield of North Carolina who invests in our communities, and so proud to have Four Square Community Action as part of our network! We couldn’t do this important work without them and their dedicated staff!
