Senior citizens face many challenges from low financial resources to lack of transportation to loneliness. That is why senior events, meals and activities, are so important to senior health.
Eunice was feeling depressed lately. She has been sick and not able to attend the senior center events recently. She was grateful for her apartment but the others who live there are “blah.” She has been thinking, “Is this it? Is this all there is to my life? I’m not ready for this to be it.”

Eunice was particularly grateful for the opportunity to attend their senior center events and meals during the pandemic. She has no transportation and lives in an apartment complex. She rides a YVEDDI van to attend a senior center and participate in congregate meals. Since the pandemic began, YVEDDI has continued to provide senior services in a safe, socially distanced way.
Thanks for taking care of the senior citizens in your community, YVEDDI! There are many senior citizens like Eunice that are in need of a little social interaction and love.
