Treat yo'self this October with
the Self-Care Challenge
The North Carolina Community Action Association is challenging everyone to make self-care a priority this fall by joining its 31-day Self-Care Challenge.
The Self-Care Challenge is a four-week educational and experimental challenge to help participants learn more about self-care and ways to practice it. Each day of the challenge will focus on one of the seven self-care categories: emotional, practical, mental, physical, social, spiritual and professional. Daily activities will include resources related to that day’s topic like a self-care activity and tips to help amp current self-care routines. Activities can be completed individually or in small groups.
After enduring the pandemic for nearly two years now, many are drained and tired of the emotional turmoil and uncertainty. Self-care has been effective at maintaining mental and physical balance during hard times.
