Duke Energy's Helping Home Fund
"Helping our customers save energy and money is important to Duke Energy. For many of our low-income and elderly customers, energy-efficient appliances and technology are simply beyond their financial reach. The Helping Home Fund empowers customers to save energy by providing tools and upgrades that they otherwise might not be able to afford."
Kendal Bowman, Duke Energy's North Carolina President

About the Fund
Duke Energy's Helping Home Fund is a FREE weatherization assistance program administered by the North Carolina Community Action Association (NCCAA) to help income-qualified Duke Energy North Carolina customers lower their energy bills, address energy-related health and safety issues, and improve the overall energy efficiency of their homes. In addition to installing energy-efficiency measures, customers also receive information on their home's energy use and strategies to reduce energy costs in the future.
